Free Kayak Rental June 22 at Riverside Park

The City of Grand Rapids is offering free kayaking as part of the Grand River Water Festival, a day long music festival that aims to help educate our community on environmental issues.

Celebrating it's 10th year, the event features booths for nonprofit organizations, food vendors, kids activities, and a beer tent.

Kayak rental is normally $8 for the first hour, and then 6 for each additional hour at Riverside Park.

According to a comment on the Facebook post shared by the City of GR, the free rides are 20-minutes long, first come first served, and life jackets are provided.
