Grand Rapids Movies in the Park series is back in 2022 and the lineup has been revealed!

This is the fourth year for Movies in the Park. It's one of four free out door movie series in Grand Rapids this summer!

Friends of Grand Rapids Parks is hosting Movies in the Park along with Grand Rapids Public Schools, Padnos, and the City of Grand Rapids Office of Special Events.

Grand Rapids' Movies in the Park Schedule 2022:

  • Space Jam 2: A New Legacy - June 25 at Gerald R. Ford School at 851 Madison Ave. SE
  • Encanto - July 15 at Roberto Clemente Park at 546 Rumsey St. SW
  • Sing 2 - August 20 at Camelot Park at 2230 Rowland Ave. SW

Each Movies in the Park night will start at 7p.m. with games, music, and recreational activities for all ages. The movie will start dusk.

According to Wood TV 8, the first 150 people at each Movies in the Park Event will get free food from Daddy Pete’s BBQ, and there's a limited quantity of popcorn from Robinson Popcorn and soda.

In case of rain or severe weather, Movies in the Park will be canceled.

What Can you Bring to Grand Rapids Movies in the Park?

Lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks are allowed, but the public is asked to refrain from bringing alcoholic beverages.
