Most of West Michigan will be experiencing its first frost, Wednesday night into Thursday morning.  According to the National Weather Service, a "Freeze Warning in effect from October 17, 10:00 PM EDT until October 18, 10:00 AM EDT"

If you are on the Lake Shore, you should stay above freezing tonight, but as you move inland temperatures will drop below 32 degrees.

This means that it is time to bring in all of your indoor plants for the season.  The heartier vegetation will survive the night because it will only get just below freezing, but most indoor plants won't be able to make it through the night.

And some areas of West Michigan could even see some snow flurries tonight.
