If you're a certified foodie like myself and have to try all the new places in town, add The Friesian Gastro Pub to your list!

The Grand Rapids Business Journal reports that GR's newest restaurant is having their grand opening on Wednesday, April 17th at 1 p.m. Friesian's is located at the Lord's Chapel Building on Michigan St. and will feature " an electric twist on comfort foods" such as stuffed dates which they posted as a "tease" on their Instagram page.

You can take a look at their full menu here. I've already decided that I will be ordering the Korean Short Ribs when I go there. They will also have a wide selection of beer, liquor and wine to choose from plus live entertainment throughout the year.

In addition, The Friesian will have outdoor patio seating and a rooftop deck that seats 50 people! Unfortunately, we have to wait just a bit longer for that to open which is expected to be finished by Memorial weekend. Let's keep our fingers crossed it doesn't randomly end up snowing and ruin the rooftop fun.

The Friesian Gastro Pub will be open everyday and even include Saturday & Sunday brunch.
