This weekend brought great weather but it also brought out the crowds. And these days, crowds are the last thing we need.

Unfortunately, for the "first time ever" officials at Grand Haven State Park had to ask people to stay away this past weekend after people completely disregarded social distancing. The crowds started to gather on Saturday and the City of Grand Haven addressed it on their Facebook page.

It is unknown right now if the parking lots are reopened for the new week. However, people are still free to visit the beach, but at a safe distance.
