Grand Rapids Could Get High Speed Train Service

With gas at 4.15 a Gallon, this is good news.   The bad news is that it could take YEARS to actually get it here. Kalamazoo to Indiana has been upgraded recently, but nothing yet for GR, which seems odd seeing as we are the 2nd biggest city in Michigan.

With gas headed in the direction, we really should be (and have been) looking into things like amtrak, high speed trains, or just trains and better bussing systems in general.

If Amtrak picks up speed, we good possibly get to Chicago in Less than 3 hours from Downtown GR - at a deal. Sign me up for that!
