The hockey season is under way and the Griffins are looking good this year. Currently they're tied for 2nd in the Central Division standings. They have a couple of games coming up too.
One Friday night and another on Saturday November 4th and 5th.
Friday nights all season long you can enjoy $2 Domestic Draft Beers and $2 Hot Dogs. So, that's a cheap night at the Van Andel, right?
Here are other events happening tomorrow night as the Griffins take on the Iowa Wild
Fall Food Drive: In partnership with Mel Trotter Ministries, fans are encouraged to drop off food items before the game inside the Van Andel Arena lobby. For a list of items needed, click here. Fans who donate will be entered to win tickets to a future Griffins game.
Arcade Night: The Griffins will be saluting the best games from the 8-bit and 16-bit video game generations with an arcade theme throughout the night.
Free Ride Friday on the Rapid: Ride the Rapid to and from any Friday game and enjoy complimentary fare by showing your ticket to the game. Visit ridetherapid.org for schedule information, routes and maps.
College Night presented by Michigan First Credit Union: College students can show their ID at every Friday game to purchase an Upper Level ticket for $14 (or $13 in advance at The Zone). Limit one ticket per ID.
Saturday night as the Griffs take on the Chicago Wolves
Team Poster Giveaway presented by Eikenhout Inc.: 2,500 Griffins team posters will be available after the game as fans exit Van Andel Arena.
