We all know that the housing market in West Michigan is pretty crazy right now, but if you are into flipping homes, it could be pretty profitable.

Our friends at WalletHub.com just released their list of 2021's Best Places to Flip Houses and 2 Michigan cities made the list.

First, Detroit showed up at 112th on the list of 176 cities which isn't that great.  Their ranking was hurt because of the low average quality of life in the city, but the list did say that the market did have some pretty good potential in the future.

The other city to make the list is our very own Grand Rapids, which came in at a respectable 40th overall.  Grand Rapids was about average when it came to market potential and quality of life in the region, but we really shined when it came to renovation and remodeling costs.

It might be hard to find a home to flip right now though, because homes in our area are only staying on the market for about a week and they are selling above listing prices.
