Well who knew the Grand Rapids marijuana job fair would be such a big hit?

According to WOOD, the LINC-UP building located on Madison Avenue had a line wrapped around the building like there was a concert going on for the first ever Grand Rapids' marijuana job fair.

Organizers from the job fair said nearly 800 people met with potential employers for positions like bud tenders, delivery drivers and even IT specialists and more.

The event organizer, Matt Hoffman said, "We packed the house without a doubt. Grand Rapids said they were interested in working in cannabis and man, did they show up."

Its gonna be a big year for employment in Grand Rapids as marijuana industry expects forecast a 220% increase in jobs. Facilities are already getting approved in GR and soon the state will settle on the representational laws over the next year.
