Natisha Moffett and her kids left Phoenix on Friday and were following a friend whose car broke down during a road trip to California. While trying to help her friend Natisha's car was struck by a semi-truck and caught fire. The accident killed Natisha and her five children.

Natisha was 35 years old. Jo'syia was her oldest child at 17, Giovanni and Santari were both 16, Malik Jr. was eight years old and Makayla was just five.

The loss of six family members has been devastating to all involved, including Natisha's husband and father to three of her children, Malik Thomas-Blakney, who told Fox 17 that he misses them already:

I miss them already. [They] taught me, unconditional love… No matter what you go through in life, no matter what, family is first.

Natisha's parents started a GoFundMe to cover the cost of returning Natisha and her children to Grand Rapids. Ynes Morrow recently posted that they had reached their goal:

I just want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart me and my family really appreciate everyone generous donations. words just can't express how appreciative we are thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart.. my babies are coming home thanks to you guys love love...

At this point, arrangements are being made to bring Natisha, and her children, home to West Michigan.
