Grand Rapids Stereotypes Live On In ‘Breakfast Club’ Meme

What if the cast of the 'Breakfast Club' were Grand Rapids suburbs? Who would be Wyoming? Now we know.

A 'Breakfast Club' meme has been making the rounds. In it, the cast is aligned with local suburbs. It started with Detroit, moved on to Michigan as a whole and now has been made to fit Grand Rapids. Or has it?

I'm not sure if these stereotypes hold true. See what you think.

In the photo meme, which you can view here, John Bender (Judd Nelson) is Wyoming, Andrew (Emilio Estevez) is Byron Center, Claire (Molly Ringwald) is East Grand Rapids, Brian (Anthony Micheal Hall) is Rockford, while Allison (Ally Sheedy) is Grand Rapids. I guess Kentwood is in the parking lot breaking into our cars.

I personally think Rockford and Byron Center are interchangeable, but the East Grand Rapids stereotype is dead on. (Claire really did think herself above all of us, did she not? I rest my case.)
