Grandville Schools Welcome Students & Teachers Back With ‘Blues Brothers’ Parody Video

It's hard to believe, but many students across West Michigan are returning to school this week. Grandville Public Schools Superintendent Roger Bearup, and Assistant Superintendent Scott Merkel decided to welcome to students and staff back in a pretty creative way this year - with a Blues Brothers parody.

The video takes you to all corners of the Grandville Public Schools, visiting elementary schools, Grandville Middle School, and Grandville High School.

Several teachers and students also got in on the video, which features the two administrators in suits and fedoras ala Jake and Elwood.

I have to admit, Superintendents Bearup and Merkel have some pretty awesome moves, and I love that they wanted to have a little bit of fun with their students heading into the school year.
