Griffins Great Skate This Weekend!

Here's a chance to meet some of YOUR Grand Rapids Griffins and skate for a good cause! The Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation will hold the Great Skate Winterfest this weekend. All events take place at Rosa Parks Circle in downtown Grand Rapids. Everything starts at noon on Saturday, with the 24 hour skating marathon getting underway at 10pm Saturday night! Meet local celebs including the Fox Sports Detroit girls!

You can even take a dog sled ride at Winterfest between noon at 6 p.m. Saturday. Most activities at Winterfest are free, but there is a small charge for some of the activities. Donations and money raised goes to the Griffins Youth Foundation.
