The Grand Rapids Griffins hold an annual contest to design an alternate uniform for the team. This year's theme was 'The '90s' and the winning jersey looks more than a little Jurassic, as in Park.

The annual contest solicits designs from around the world via the web site Uni-Watch, and this year's winner is Casey Sprogis from Maine, who designed a Jurassic Park styled jersey to coincide with the '90s theme.

The Griffins will wear Casey's shirt on '90s Night, Saturday, February 22. Casey will get his own personalized jersey and be the guest of honor at Van Andel Arena on that night.

Keep in mind that the '90s were kind of a crazy era for jerseys, with bright colors and giant appliques in vogue at the time. Yikes!
