According to the company's rebranded web site, the new company name is derived from the fact that your health is, well, at the core of everything:

Your wellness is at the core of everything. Without it, you are not at your best. With it, you live your healthiest life possible. Wellness includes the health of your mind and body. And it’s about keeping you healthy with a health plan and access to care when and where you need it. We are relentlessly pursuing better health for everyone.
