Guess What? Gas In Grand Rapids Could Be Going Up 40 Cents A Gallon Today!

Yes! It's been SO long since we had a good old fashioned "no rhyme nor reason" 40 cent a gallon gas hike! I think I'm going to go sit by my favorite gas station and wait for the price to go up....AGAIN!

That, gentle reader, is satire. Or sarcasm. Take your pick....

Here was the tweet I got from our friends at gasbuddy.com a few minutes ago..."We sent gas price hike warnings to people in OH, MI, IN, KY, and other scattered areas. Great Lks states could see a 10-40c/gal jump today" 40 CENTS?!?!?! Why? Is there a hurricane we haven't heard about pummeling the Gulf of Mexico? A refinery fire in Whiting, Indiana? Or is BP and Shell just not making enough profit this quarter...

Think I will go with C...As of this post, the lowest price in town for gas is $3.39 a gallon at the Admiral on Kalamazoo by 44th Street, as well as at the Speedway on the corner of Kalamazoo and 44th Street. Get it while the getting is good...could be back over 4 bucks in some places by the end of the day....
