Today it was announced as part of the casino's 'Play It Safe' initiative that the fully vaccinated will be able to visit the casino without face coverings. The casino is still asking those who have not been fully vaccinated to mask up.

The casino will also be removing partitions that had been in place between slot machines, turning on machines that had previously been shut off to help with social distancing, and will allow food and beverages at their gaming tables.

The casino, operated by the sovereign Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish tribe, is not subject to either federal or state Covid mandates and has been able to set its own safety standards and mitigation practices throughout the pandemic.
