There are two things ArtPrize Eight is not short on: surprises and fish.

The Public Vote Final 20 includes entries featuring trout and sturgeon as subject matter.

Andrew Rockwood's "Trout Bike" is at Peppinos Pizzeria & Sports Grille for ArtPrize Eight. The bike is 16 feet long and is made out of cardboard refrigerator boxes, paper mache and old lawn chairs. It has been painted to look like a native brook trout.

Does "Trout Bike" have deep artistic meaning? No. Don't count me among its biggest fans, but I'll admit it's pretty hard not to smile when you see it heading down the road.

"Trout Bike" is one of 20 entries eligible for the Public Vote $200,000 Grand Prize. It is also eligible for a $12,500 category award.

Round 2 voting closes on Thursday, October 6 at 11:59PM.
