Handwritten Lyrics To “Lucy In the Sky” Up For Auction

Another piece of The Beatles' legacy is up for sale.  The auction house Profiles In History has announced that John Lennon's handwritten lyrics to "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" will be available to buyers on May 14th and 15th.  Experts say the lyrics should fetch upwards of 200-thousand dollars.  The sheet features "Lucy's" opening lyrics -- scrawled by Lennon -- along with a sketch of four people in a room.

The "Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds" lyrics sheet will be offered by Profiles In History during an auction at Saban Theater in Beverly Hills in May. Reuters.com has more info.
