Last night I'm watching Happy Days on a channel on the cable called the "Hub"...it used to be "Discovery Kids". Now its owned by the Hasbro people (Friday nights are "Game Nights"...Giant versions of "Sorry" and "Hungry Hungry Hippos")

After the kids go to bed, the Hub shows reruns like Doogie Howser M.D., Wonder Years and Happy Days. Last night, Richie, Ralph and Potsy decide to break Officer Kirk's curfew to meet Fonzie at the Elvis Train. Laughing. So. Hard. Anyway, at the beginning of the show, the little on screen graphic let me know I can see this 35 year old show in HD. Why? What purpose will seeing Howard Cunningham, God rest his soul, drive up in his Desoto in HD? Will Joanie look older, or Marian look younger, in HD? Will Fonzie's Jacket gleem a little brighter in 1080p? Will Arnold's food taste any better? Probably not.

On a sidenote. The "Elvis Train" Fonzie was going to see was supposedly taking Elvis into the Army, But the train Elvis rode actually was after he was discharged, and it went from New Jersey to Tennessee...nowhere near Milwaukee...

Ayyyyyyy!
