The pandemic and being in quarantine has driven us all a little crazy. Moreso parents who have been forced to be stuck indoors with their children for months on end; so call a babysitter or drop them off at grandma and grandpa's house because it's time for a night out without the kids.

The John Ball Zoo is bringing back their annual summer event Adult Night Out on Thursday, July 23. The zoo says this is the perfect opportunity to make it a date night or friends night out.

Guests 21+ will be able to walk around the zoo and visit the animals while enjoying a libation. Beer, wine, and speciality cocktails will be available along with some tasty food options. Sharpen up on those animal facts because there will even be trivia in the Forest Realm.

Tickets are $18 for members and $20 for non-members. You must buy your tickets beforehand and select a slotted time to avoid crowding at the gate. Tickets are available for 5:45p, 6p, and 6:15p and can be purchased here. The entire event goes from 6p-9p.

Make sure to bring a mask with you in case you find yourself in a group where social distancing cannot be maintained.

To keep the kids satisfied, you can take them to Princess Day at John Ball Zoo on Tuesday the 21st. There will be prince and princess characters and kids are encouraged to dress up! Meet and greets are included in the price of admission.

The next time you visit the zoo, make sure to try their new beer that they teamed up with Brewery Vivant for. Appropriately, it's called JBZ, and a portion of the proceeds go towards helping the environment.
