Herd of Deer Roam Southwest Grand Rapids Neighborhood

Oh deer! (Sorry, had to.)

Last week a group of about 20 deer were spotted in a residential neighborhood on the southwest side of Grand Rapids.

Local photographer, Aaron Geller, was able to catch the herd running down Godfrey Avenue SW near Burton Street SW on video and shared it to Facebook.

Geller says he witnessed the unusual sight about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1.

I've seen a few deer here or there in my neighborhood, but never a group this big! What about you?
