WARNING!! No disrespect is intended by this observation. The shooting in Arizona over the weekend was a senseless, cowardly, tragic episode in American politics. My thoughts and prayers are with all the victims and their families as they try and recover from such a life altering event. Having said that....

It has been widely reported that the killer had left messages about his plans and other evidence of his state of mind on a MySpace page. There's the whole problem...who has a MySpace page anymore? If he would have picked his social media more carefully, those people could all still be alive. Pretty sad....

"Murder was planned and premeditated by Jared Loughner. Right before committing his atrocity, Loughner posted on MySpace, "Goodbye friends, please don't be mad at me." That MySpace page also revealed Mein Kampf, along with the Communist Manifesto, as two of Loughner's favorite books. Both those books led to the deaths of millions of people, including many millions of executed Jews as anti-Semitism reached crazy levels." -- Craig Alan Silverman on the Huffington Post
