Its officially Fall and sure, you can have a pumpkin spice latte, but why that when you can have a Pure Michigan beer instead?

For the second year in a row, Short's Brewing and Pure Michigan have teamed up to release the Pure Michigan Autumn IPA,

...a 100 percent Michigan-grown and harvested IPA that highlights the state’s agricultural bounty and nationally-recognized craft beer industry.

Their both promoting to #HopIntoMichigan so whatever your Fall-related activities are do it with this beer in hand.

The Pure Michigan Autumn IPA is made with malt from three Michigan maltsters, two Michigan hop farms, and yeast from Craft Cultures in the U.P. It's described as

Straw-colored and slightly hazy, this beer leads with slightly sweet, fruity, and malty flavors that are immediately followed with a pleasant hoppiness that finishes dry.

The beer is not only packed with flavors but 5.6% of alcohol.

After a successful year in 2019, it was only right to bring it back this year. The beer will ship statewide on October 2nd to Meijer, D&W Fresh Market, Kroger, VG’s Food Center, and Busch's plus other smaller retailers.

To celebrate the season and the beer, Pure Michigan and Short's Brewing will host a virtual beer and cheese tasting happy hour on October 8. During it, learn what cheeses to pair with the Autumn IPA plus some other Michigan fall-inspired beers. The event will be held on both Pure Michigan and Short's Facebook pages. If you plan on attending, a shopping list of beers and cheese that will be sampled during the event, will be provided ahead of time.

Nobody can deny Michigan is one of the best states to be in during the Fall season so make the most out of it with some ways to experience it in the state.
