Host Steve Harvey Crowned the Wrong Miss Universe Champion [VIDEO]

When you host an award show, you ultimately have one job: give the award to the correct person. Steve Harvey did not do that job correctly during Sunday night's Miss Universe pageant.

Harvey was hosting the pageant on FOX when he announced Miss Colombia as Miss Universe.

The only problem was that Miss Colombia was the first runner-up. Miss Philippines had actually won the Miss Universe crown.

For what it's worth, Harvey admitted his mistake and took full responsibility, though that doesn't make the situation any less awkward.

Perhaps you should stick to your numerous day jobs, Steve.
