This year's freezing rain and cold temperatures have brought a lot of things to West Michigan, but here's one thing we haven't seen until now, "ghost apples."

Andrew Sietsema from Sparta, Michigan, was working in the wintry conditions when he helped to create the memorable ice sculptures.

Sietsema said on Facebook, "As I pruned the trees the melted, rotten apples would be shaken and slip out of the bottom where it didn’t get covered in ice."

He called them, "Jona-ghosts."
