Look I'm the first one to give people a break. No one is perfect. But there are some things that should just be done correctly. Am I wrong?

One of my pet peeves. When the police are called "The Cops" on the news. Or when President Obama is called "Obama" In real life, using common and conversational language isn't that big of a deal. On the news, it's just lazy and someone isn't being taught proper English. I'm no grammar Nazi, but there are just some people and some institutions I hold in a little higher esteem.

I saw a Tweet last night from a local news anchor that said, and I quote

"Join Me, other person and other person on the news tonight"

Join Me, other person and other person??? (please realize "other person" are just changing the names of the other people to protect them. They didn't do anything wrong in this tweet.)

This is someone you think should know a little better. How about

"Join other person, other person, and Me/I tonight..."

"Is it correct grammar to say 'Me and Bob are going to the game'?"

A- No, it is incorrect. The correct way to phrase that sentence is this:
"Bob and I are going to the game."

Come on....
