‘Imagine All The People:’ John Lennon Killed This Day in 1981

It was on this day in 1981 that John Lennon, one of the original Beatles, was gunned down in front of his apartment in New York. He was 51.

Think how much different the music of the 80's and beyond would have been had he, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain and Elvis Presley lived.
