Its Cider Week In Grand Rapids

Its that time of year again for a nice ice cold or warm glass of apple cider...and why not its Cider Week in Grand Rapids Michigan.

According to WOOD, Experience GR kicked off Cider Week 2019 Sunday and it will wrap up on Saturday, May 18. This is a celebration of our local cider scene featuring seven days of activities and events. Plus, don't for the cider festival that will be happening in downtown Grand Rapids.

Here are just a few of the events that will occur during cider week, like the cider and cheese event, a candle making event that also includes cider and s'mores, plus a cider and paint event. Plus there are cider pairings and a cider pub crawl. These events will be held all throughout GR.

If you like a little competition then you will enjoy the Annual Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition that will happen during Cider Week. This is a world class event and the largest of its kind in the world. The cider judging event will take place Wednesday, May 15 through Friday, May 17 and will be right smack dab in downtown Grand Rapids. This will be your opportunity to chat and drink with some of the world's cider experts.
