It’s Never Too Early For ArtPrize!

The next installment of ArtPrize won't be for at least another 8 months, but that hasn't stopped the World's Largest Art Contest's organizers to start planning for this year and the future of the critically acclaimed art show. ArtPrize 2013 will be from September 18 to October 6. Artist registration for 2013 begins on April 22. Venue registration begins March 11.

Organizers also announced that they expect to operate 2013 at break even levels or make a profit. The event has run at a deficit the first years and has about $3 million in debt. WZZM's Hannah Saunders was at the ArtPrize kickoff breakfast

Organizers also say that they are meeting with other cities to pitch ArtPrize ideas. They have a meeting in Minneapolis in May.
