Grand Rapids' wood-fired bakery, Field & Fire, is expanding with a new bagel shop.
Rad Bagels to Open in Grand Rapids Downtown Market
Field & Fire Bakery first opened in the Grand Rapids Downtown Market at 435 Ionia Ave. SW in 2013. They specialize in authentic European breads and pastries, and focus on using local, organic ingredients.
In 2016, the business expanded with a new location at 820 Monroe Ave. NW - and now Field & Fire is set to expand again!
Rad Bagels will have an "80s-nostalgic interior" and plans are to open soon!

What's on the menu at Rad Bagels?
Well, bagels of course - but not just that!
According to GRBJ the bagels will be made using using sourdough and yeast dough in “crazy and unique flavors.”
You'll also fine bagel sandwiches and had-held waffle creations.
Field & Fire co-owner Shelby Kibler tells GRBJ,
We’ve been looking for a way to produce something new and exciting and grow as a company. This new venture will allow us to expand how we serve this community, in a beautiful space with tons of natural light, and take bagels and bagel sandwiches to the next level.
