You saw the game, you've seen the videos, and you probably have seen the photos of the Michigan Wolverines players and coaches holding their College Football National Championship trophy.

The Wolverines rose to the challenge and played a great game in their championship win over the Washington Huskies. You can tell from the smiles on quarterback J.J. McCarthy and head coach Jim Harbaugh that a lifelong dream of winning a national championship has been accomplished and it feels good.

Like many championship trophies, once the team gets done passing it around fans of the Wolverines are going to get their chance to get a picture with the College Football National Championship trophy.

Superfans of the Michigan Wolverines will have three opportunities to get their photos taken with their College Football National Championship trophy.

I have had a few friends get their photos taken with the Stanley Cup and boy were they excited. The closest I have ever come to any sort of championship item was when I shook the hand of former Notre Dame head coach and former offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots Charlie Weis. He was wearing a Super Bowl ring and I spotted it and said is that what I think it is? Weis took it off and let me hold it for a second, I couldn't believe I was holding a Super Bowl ring and it was exciting.

You probably don't have time to make it to the first stop to get your picture taken with the trophy but on Thursday, January 11 you have a chance at that photo at the Walmart in Canton from 4 to 7 p.m. The next opportunity will be Friday, January 12 at M Den on State St. in Ann Arbor from 4 to 7 p.m. Good luck and I hope you get your picture.
