On Sunday, July 2nd as members of the Secret Service were doing routine checks of all the rooms in the White House, they discovered a white powdery substance in the West Wing in a work area.

The Secret Service immediately closed off the White House until the substance could be verified. The Washington D.C. Fire Department was contacted and they quickly determined the substance to be cocaine.
