Who is performing in Grand Rapids at the Calder Plaza?

National recording artist CeCe Peniston has been announced as the headliner for the concert event. Peniston is best known for her time at the top of the charts in the 1990s when she scored five major number-one hits within three years. Her signature Dance hit, “Finally,” was #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. It became one of the biggest dance records in history, selling over 3 million copies worldwide.

The concert will also feature DJ Citizen Jane and another artist that is yet to be named.

Is the One Community Concert with CeCe Peniston free?

Entry to the event is FREE with a portion of the refreshment proceeds going to local organizations. One Community says the proceeds will go to groups helping to make 'One Community West Michigan a daily reality':

A portion of the proceeds from #onecommunitywmi will be distributed back to our community partners: Hispanic Center of Western Michigan, Grand Rapids African American Art & Music Festival, and Do Good, Be Grand.
