I don't know about you but growing up if I said a swear word there was hell to pay.

My parents would cuss up a storm when they got mad which makes me feel like there was a double standard going on.

I don't remember what I said as a young kid but twice I found myself with a bar of soap in my mouth and that sucked.

As an adult, I swear more than I'd like to admit.

It could be from watching sports to accidentally hurting myself by sneezing wrong.

So imagine my surprise to find out that when it comes to swearing Michigan has a city that's among cities in America that swear the least.

The fine people at Preply recently shared the top states in America that swear the least.

They surveyed 1,500 residents of the 30 largest metropolitan areas on their swearing habits.

The survey found that Gen Z swears the most and Baby Boomers swear the least and to my surprise, Detroit made the list at number five of cities that swear the least.

They say that the average adult in Detroit swears 18 times a day.

The place where they are most likely to swear is at work, It's a good thing they didn't come to my work, or that number would have been much higher.
