Every state in the US has their own way of celebrating the holiday season, but some of us are just a little bit more obsessed than others.

According to the US Embassy there are actually 10 cities in the United States that are named after Christmas in some way?

And one of them, of course, is here in Michigan. Which isn't surprising because during the winter it sort of feels like we're living in a giant snow globe anyway.

Christmas, Michigan is a tiny town located in the Upper Peninsula that only has 400 people, but they get into the spirit year round with a 35 foot tall Santa that greets you as you visit, year round.

They also have a Christmas themed casino located on Candy Cane Lane and also features Frosty’s Bar and Grill for those of us who love every Christmas reference we can get.

But that's not the most famous Christmas themed town in the state, you're probably aware of Frankenmuth and Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, which is the world's largest Christmas store that is also open year round.

And we aren't just having cities named after Christmas, there is also an entire song about Michigan and it's love of Christmas.

You probably won't hear that one on the radio, but it's fun for your at home playlist.

So, if you're a grinch the mitten state may not be the place for you. However, Santa lovers can rejoice because you can celebrate Christmas year round here in Michigan.
