Another Abandoned Michigan Bowling Alley: Everything Left Behind

Too many abandoned locations, such limited time to visit them all...so we try to bring many of them directly to you via this medium.
This particular deserted Michigan bowling alley opened in 1967 – closing date is unknown, but it must have been only a few years ago. It had all the trappings of the bowling alleys you are currently aware of: arcade, bar, and snack area.....but only eight lanes.
There is a surprisingly large number of items left behind that remain unclaimed: bowling balls, tournament trophies, bowling ball bags, photos of tournament winners, TVs, a microwave oven, numerous pinball & video games, pool table, non-edible concessions, air hockey table, a cash register filled with coffee filters instead of money, and the strangest thing: there is not one rental bowling shoe in sight. With everything else left behind, all the rental bowling shoes seem to have disappeared.
There’s also an old ATM and a machine that will let you change the color and texture of your balls.
No, really.....there is.
Everything else is basically intact: ball return machines, pin setters, seats & benches, monitor screens for scoring, and the food stand menu. Looking at the prices of pizza, dogs, burgers, fried foods, and pop, it’s easy to see that it couldn’t have been that long ago when it closed. You can still imagine the sound of the pins being whacked by a ball.
