Not the speed dating you may be thinking of, it is speed dating for moms meeting friends!
Created back in 2017, this speed dating event is designed to connect mothers with other like-minded friends.
"Having a support system in motherhood is so important, and mom friends are a big part of that! I [Jennie June] understand it can be challenging to meet new people, and some meetups leave you feeling unsure of how to interact (social anxiety, anyone?!). That's why I created the Mommy-Friend Speed Dating Event - so that we can all embrace the awkward together and get to know some new mom friends!"
The event is set up like a typical speed dating situation, however, you are given much more information than the standard speed dating.
At the beginning of the event, you will receive a PDF that has a bio for every single participant so that way you can have pre-determined questions to ask if you are comfortable.
So you can skip the surface-level mom-related questions, and find a true friend by asking deeper questions.

Tickets are only $10 to participate! Plus, the money goes towards renting the cafe and supporting its mission of employing and supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities!
