Kiss Performing For 2014 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

The members of Kiss have already teamed up with Hello Kitty for toilet paper and an animated series. On Thursday, they'll take their relationship a step further by performing in the shadow of a gigantic Hello Kitty balloon in New York.

The magic will happen at the 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, scheduled Thursday and airing on NBC. Along with the usual festivities, which include dozens of parade floats and scores of floating pop culture icons, this year's event will include an appearance from Kiss, who have agreed to deliver what's being described as a "special performance."

The parade adds another stop to what's been a busy year of touring for the band, and comes just a few days after Kiss concludes its residency at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
