Breaking GR Golf News:

The LPGA just announced their updated schedule - the Meijer LPGA Classic at Blythefield CC is now CANCELLED and originally pre-promoting a date of October 1-4. This is bad news for Blythefield who will lose the revenue of the event.

OK back to "LIVE" Sports on TV this weekend.

For Men's Professional Golf this was the longest shutdown since World War II. And like you I've been ready for "LIVE" sports back on TV...granted it's only golf but that's a good start.

2020 Charles Schwab Challenge from Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas with a purse of $7,500,000 and defending champion is Kevin Na.

So What did we learn after day any golf with Tiger Woods is better, he is not in the field today. And surprisingly no spectators made it a little too laid back. I was missing the crowd roars...may give us a feel for what to expect with other sports coming on board with no fans in the crowd. If you need an afternoon nap this weekend the golf tournament will be perfect in the background.

After Day One: some really good golf with two golfers shooting 63 Englishman Justin Rose and Harold Varner III so they were tied for 1st at (-7). One shot back Jhonattan Vegas and relatively rs Abraham Ancer and a red hot Collin Morikawa. Remember those last two names they will make a nice addition to your Draft Kings team and more on that later.

Biggest surprise of the day - Tom Lehman was tied for 7th at age 61 and that's 32 spots ahead of world #1 Rory McIlroy. Early Friday Jordan Spieth was (-4) for his round today and Rory at (-6) for his round. Also routing for one of my former Pro-AM players Kevin Kisner currently at (-6) total.

You'll also get to hear some of the players mic'd up for this event - that should be more interesting this weekend.

Draft Kings was so happy for "LIVE" sports for you to bet on Fantasy Golf they added $200,000 in prize to their biggest contest offering to make you a Millionaire. $1,000,000 Top Prize if you're the only one with those players this weekend.

Coverage on Golf Channel and CBS Sports this weekend.
