Rutting season means a life or death battle for bucks in the woods, but a Lowell's man quick thinking allowed these bucks to live another day.

Two battling bucks got their horns stuck together while battling for rutting rights to a doe, and luckily for them, Mark Johnson happened upon them while hunting.

Mark quickly got a hold of his neighbors, and one of them, brad Lyons brought his gas powered tree trimming saw down to the creek where the bucks were stuck and was able to free them by cutting their antlers.

I watched this video several times and I'm still not sure how he did it, but as Lisa Lyons, the person recording the incident, says, 'Praise the Lord!'
