Madonna took time during her concert in Houston last night to pay tribute to the late David Bowie by performing her own cover of Bowie's 'Rebel Rebel.'

The song ironically ties in with her tour, promoting her new album Rebel Heart. Before beginning her performance, Madonna told the crowd, "If you haven’t heard about David Bowie, then look him up[...] He was one of the geniuses of the music industry, one of the greatest singer/songwriters of the 20th century, and he changed my life when I went to see him in concert in Detroit. He showed me that it was OK to be different. And he’s the first rebel heart that I laid eyes on, OK?"

She gets into the song quite well, and even though her singing isn't life-changing, she certainly gives it enough heart and passion to make Bowie proud.
