A man was killed in Muskegon Thursday on his motorcycle with the driver of the vehicle involved fleeing the scene. Police have found and arrested him.

According to WOOD, the hit and run accident before 10 p.m. Thursday. The Muskegon Police Department said the incident took place at the intersection of East Laketon Avenue and Terrace Street.

The person who was killed on the motorcycle was a 28-year-old from Norton Shores. According to the Muskegon Police Department the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police, who had a description of the vehicle that left the scene, later found that vehicle which led to a person of interest. The 25-year-old Muskegon man was taken into custody but no more information has been released.

Muskegon Police say the case is still under investigation.
