Man Exposes Himself to Woman at Millennium Park [VIDEO]
UPDATE: The Grandville Police have taken a 25-year-old man from Georgetown Township into custody.
UPDATE: As of Friday morning, Wood TV 8 is reporting the indecent exposure incidents at Millennium Park and Rivertown Crossings mall are connected. Police have released surveillance photos from the mall.
Police are investigating a flashing incident at Millennium Park that may be connected to other reports of indecent exposure in West Michigan.
Wood TV 8 reports that Kristin Bryan was walking her dog at Millennium Park Wednesday morning when she noticed a man sitting in a dark colored PT Cruiser.
At first she didn't think much of it. It was around 11am, so she thought the man could be eating lunch in his car.
Then he got out of his car. The man began walking towards her, with no pants on.
Bryant told Wood TV 8:
"It went beyond the shock factor of just having someone expose themselves to you. He kept coming towards me.His facial expression just looked very aggressive, very mean. His fists were clenched."
Bryant has a medical condition that restricts her breathing, so she wasn't able to run or scream. She made her way toward park employees and able to take a photograph of the perpetrator and call police.
The man was gone by the time police arrived.
Bryant has shared the photo to Facebook, hoping someone can identify him.
She says the man appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, weighing between 210 and 230 pounds.
Walker Police are now investigating and have placed extra patrols at the park.
About an hour before the incident at Millennium Park, Grandville police say there was a report of indecent exposure at a store in RiverTown Crossings Mall.
Police are investigating whether the cases are connected.
Wood TV 8 reports that police also continue to investigate a report of a man exposing himself in Cascade Township last month.
