Man Shot and Killed at ‘After Hours’ Party in Grand Rapids
Police are investigating a homicide that happened on 28th Street early Sunday morning.
Wood TV 8 reports that police were called to the 1800 block of 28th Street SE just before 3 a.m. to a large gathering that appeared to be an “after hours” party at a business.
While there, police heard gun shots from inside a building. They found a 31-year-old male who had been shot. Officers attempted life saving efforts, but the man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Wood TV 8, in 2016, one person was killed and 8 people were hurt in a shooting at this same location.
