In case you missed it, there's currently a recall of eggs around the U.S. due to listeria concerns and now Meijer is taking precaution.

Per the FDA,

Meijer – in conjunction with Almark Foods - is announcing a voluntary recall of frozen hard-boiled egg products used on two salad bars at two stores in Grand Rapids, Mich.

This includes the Knapp's Corner and Rockford locations and were sold between Oct. 25, 2019 and Dec. 23, 2019. The eggs being recalled are 'DICED EGGS FROZEN 5 LB.'

Almark Foods is behind the original recall but Meijer used their hard boiled egg ingredients for their salad bar.

In addition, Meijer is also recalling hard boiled eggs only sold at Bridge Street Market in Grand Rapids -- Inspired Organics Hard-Boiled Eggs 2 Pk -- with all best by dates including up to March 2, 2020.

No illnesses have been reported but anyone who purchased these eggs should not eat them and return them to Meijer for a refund. If you have any questions regarding the recall you can contact Meijer at 800-543-3704.
