A Michigan couple is in hot water after allegedly having sex in a hot tub at a resort in Sandusky Ohio.

The Sandusky Register reports that Kamden Mack, 25, of Ann Arbor and Taylor Coats, 22, of Hudson face multiple charges following the March 5th incident.

According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, police were called to Kalahari Resorts around 8:15p.m. on Tuesday when a lifeguard reported spotting the couple allegedly having sex in a hot tub.

Security says the man became irate when confronted, swearing and yelling at staff. The couple was asked to leave the premises and denied the allegations.

The Detroit Free Press reports that authorities say they smelled the "odor of an alcoholic beverage" on the man.

According to police, the couple then attempted to flee.

The man was eventually captured and taken to a police cruiser where he continued to resist.

At one point during the incident, the man opened the police car door and took off running; apparently it was not locked because of a previous repair.

Police were able to catch the man, tackling him to the ground, and he was taken into custody. The female was found in the hotel room and also arrested.

Mack was charged with felony escape and misdemeanor persistent disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing. Coats was also charged with misdemeanor persistent disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.
