Michigan Man In Jail For Stabbing Goat

Having three brothers, I can understand a little sibling disagreement, but why bring your brother's goat into it?

They have never referred to Bad Axe as the "City of Brotherly Love", and so it was expected that a brotherly feud would end ugly in the Thumb community.

A Bad Axe man is facing charges of animal cruelty after allegedly stabbing his brother's pet goat.

Huron County Sheriffs Deputies say 34-year old Eric Learman allegedly stabbed the animal several times in the neck with a nine inch knife following a disagreement at his brother's farm.

I'm not sure what the fight was about, or whether the goat had anything to do with it.

The only good news I can share is the goat is doing fine and is resting and recovering from the incident at a local animal rescue.
