A Michigan man who was trail riding on his property on his side by side has died.

According to MLive, 84-year-old Charles Edward Dedic died over the weekend when his side by side ATV rolled over on him in the Upper Peninsula's Delta County.

Dedic lost control of the ATV and was thrown from the vehicle facedown into some water then the vehicle pinned him in the water.

Dedic was found about 30 minutes after the crash by his son who pulled him from the water Saturday, October 19 around 3 p.m.

DNR officers were the first to repsond to the scene and tried to revive Dedic until emergency responders arrived.

The terrain where the accident took place was too rough for emergency vehicles to enter so the DNR used their truck to get Dedic out of the woods.

Unfortunately Dedic was unable to be resuscitated and passed away.
