Lance Corporal Myles Kerr was home in Charlevoix visiting family, and had just arrived home the day before. That's pretty impressive in and of itself, but it's what happened during the race that his getting him all of the attention.

According to a picture found on Facebook (and confirmed by Kerr via his Twitter account), as he was running the race, the happened upon a 9-year-old boy who had become separated from the group he was running the race with. The boy asked him, "Sir, will you please run with me?", and that's exactly what Kerr did. He urged the boy on through the remainder of the race, and the boy was reunited with his family when he crossed the finish line.

A picture of Kerr and the boy running side by side, posted by Seal Of Honor on Facebook, has been shared over 43,000 times.
